Our founder, Rudy Cortez, discovered his passion for Culture and Lifestyle through TexAmericana music in San Antonio, Texas as professional accordionist. He perfected his accordion skills recording and performing across Texas and beyond, recording as a studio musician, appearing on TV shows and Hollywood music videos. After serving overseas with the US Air Force, Rudy returned to pursue a Bachelor's degree at St. Mary's University, in San Antonio, while Recording and touring with Capitol and Sony Recording Artists. His career expanded into mentoring youth, giving accordion lessons within school districts and Parks and Recreation programs, eventually starting his own music school, Consulting the AFM grass roots campaigns and advocating for Latino musicians' rights.
With over 25 years of experience in sales and promotional marketing campaigns, Rudy has spearheaded initiatives for Fortune 500 companies and professional sports teams. Now, he creates marketing campaigns, membership subscriptions, and loyalty rewards programs, fostering connections between businesses and communities. Rudy's vision extends beyond music to unite talents, organizations, and entrepreneurs worldwide, promoting cultural preservation and environmental awareness through entertainment, media and community grassroots initiatives.

Cultural Arts Society (CAS) and AV Recording Studios was founded through the collaboration of elite production teams joined by state-of-the-art studios in which CAS provides access to world class audio-visual music production, soundtracks, Online Educational Platform & Community and live events.
CAS, with roots deeply entrenched within the hub of Hispanic cultural music and Tex-Mex vibes, is on a mission to connect the world to the talent & contributors of TexAmerican music history through the process of elite production and the utilization of all audio-visual media worldwide. As an executive producer, CAS has coordinated a CAS production team of elite music veterans consisting of the world’s renowned producer and entertainment executive Jake Salazar Jr., the legendary mastering engineer Bernie Grundman, and audio engineer virtuoso Tony Gonzalez.
This CAS production team is making history by producing uplifting traditional elements infused with modern beats that feel like a “Carne Guisada with Guacamole” home-cooked meal. The music produced by CAS contains feel-good vibes, and the signature sound of this elite production team reflects the breadth of their influences.
