When City Council abdicates their responsibility and decide they don't need to hear from independent economists when using our tax dollars, WE WILL DO IT OURSELVES
Join us to:
• Get important answers from a nationally recognized professors on sports stadium deals.
• Learn about how these tax dollars can be used for much more than just a fourth arena from local tax experts.
• Hear from the Mayor and City Council members who stand with us in demanding due diligence and transparency.
Join other people across the city to defend public money for public good on up and coming future dates and at locations to be announced.
We are currently opposing the largest public tax giveaway in our City’s history. $4 billion of public funds are on the line to build an arena and entertainment district, aka Project Marvel. What would YOU use this money for?
As we ramp up our movement to unite communities, we are building power for local infrastructure for our neighborhoods.
Recently, City Council voted DOWN an independent economy analysis. COPS/Metro is asking, WHO benefits, and WHO pays? COPS/Metro brought economists to tell us the truth and elected officials who stand with us. But we still need the People to unite and take action to Vote!

Edgewood Theatre of Performing Arts
The State of the Westside is Prosper West’s signature annual event and fundraiser. It brought together residents, small business owners, nonprofit partners, funders, and civic leaders for an energizing morning that was focused on community-driven progress and collaborative impact.
Panel speakers were great. This year’s theme, "Power in Partnership: Collaborating for a Thriving Westside," celebrated the powerful partnerships that are creating real opportunities without displacing the people who make San Antonio’s historic Westside so vibrant.

DOWNTOWN HENRY B. GONZALEZ CONVENTION CENTER
For 50 years, COPS/Metro Alliance has given ordinary people a powerful voice in the decisions that affect their communities. This is a nonpartisan organization of dues-paying member institutions working to improve life for families in the San Antonio region. Its members have included religious congregations, schools, civic associations, labor and professional organizations, and non-profits.
This a university of public life where people become leaders, developing the courage and skills to accomplish more than they ever thought possible. Our San Antonio team is leading by example and there will be people visiting from all over the world to see what we are doing for the people.
